About Us
St. Thomas Matriculation Higher Secondary School, established on 12th July 1972, is managed by the Tuticorin Diocesan Association (Registered) under the guidance of the Catholic Diocese of Tuticorin. Founded by Most Rev. Dr. Ambrose D.D., the school was elevated to Higher Secondary status in 1982. With the blessings and support of the Diocese, the institution strives to provide quality English-medium education that promotes intellectual excellence, moral integrity, and social responsibility among students, irrespective of religion or background.
Guided by Christian values and a deep commitment to holistic development, St. Thomas School aims to mould young minds into responsible, value-based citizens. Through its well-structured curriculum, dedicated faculty, and co-curricular activities, the school nurtures every child’s intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual growth, preparing them to “Arise and Shine” as beacons of light and service in society.
